Audit Services

The audit is the highest level of assurance a professional accountant can provide. We plan and perform each engagement to obtain reasonable assurance about whether financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, so that users can rely on them with confidence.

Our audit work covers statutory audits, project and donor-grant audits, and assurance engagements for UN agencies and development partners. We work under the International Standards on Auditing (ISA), including ISA 800 for special-purpose frameworks.

What an engagement includes

• Understanding the entity and its internal control, and assessing the risk of material misstatement.
• Obtaining audit evidence through inquiry, inspection, observation, third-party confirmation and analytical procedures.
• Evaluating accounting policies and the reasonableness of estimates.
• An audit opinion, management letter and, where required, verification of management responses.
